Our Artist Development program is for music artists like singers, songwriters or someone who does both. We work with both older more advanced artists AND younger beginners. This program is a great way to take a musical journey to the next level and give a unique outlet for creativity. It focuses on songwriting (music & lyrics), performance coaching/stage presence, marketing and music business principles. We will create a custom step-by-step business plan and show you how to put it into action. Opportunities for professional recordings, music videos, photo shoots, a website and performances are always available.
Our connection to music industry professionals across the country allows you the possibility to plug into a network and live your dream.
ARTIST DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS ARE THE ULTIMATE SUPPLEMENT TO THE MUSICAL JOURNEY!
• Acoustic guitar players that don't play classical cannot join their school’s orchestra.
• Songwriters cannot consistently showcase their talents in their school's music class
• Pop singers cannot rock out with their school’s chorus program
Even if your school incorporates modern music into their music programs, you most likely will not get much time to shine with solos because there are so many kids! Our artist development sessions are an outlet for individual creativity and a chance to be seen as who you really are.
With weekly 30 minute lessons and weekly 60 minute artist development sessions, you get SIX HOURS A MONTH of private instruction and inside information.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT DO YOU LEARN IN YOUR ARTIST DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS?
That question is often asked by prospective artists. Our instructors make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your personal musical needs and goals.
We do not treat every artist the same in terms of what and how we guide.
A thirteen year old singer having their first session will have very different needs than an eighteen year old artist with song ideas whose had lessons as a child.
The main reason to choose Winter Park Music Academy as your guide, is that we are sensitive to the fact that every artist is an individual.
If you enroll here for sessions, we will work with you to make a plan that will fit your needs and musical preferences. At the first session your instructor will ask you about your vision and set goals to help accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child.
WHAT STYLES OF MUSIC DO YOU WORK WITH?
We develop artists of all styles from rock, pop, country, blues, folk, indie and alternative.
ARE YOUR INSTRUCTORS QUALIFIED?
Our instructors have been carefully selected to be educated and experienced. They have received their education from prestigious institutions such as Rollins College, University of Central Florida and University of South Florida. Many of our instructors have gone on performance tours of the US and Europe and have 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience. In addition to their industry knowledge and teaching credentials, our instructors have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and strive to get to know the artist and their parents on a personal level.
