Imagine belting out your favorite songs to a packed house with a group of kids on a stage! Winter Park Children’s Choir at Winter Park Music Academy is the only group that has access to Winter Park and Orlando’s premier events and performances. Past performances include Academy Recitals, The Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Art and The Winter Park Christmas Parade on Park Avenue in Downtown Winter Park.

Our choir directors are friendly and patient. We consider the learning style of each member of the choir to bring out the best in them. All choir members get to learn, sing and work together as a team to perform!
Students will learn teamwork, patience, vocal warm-ups and exercises as well as stage presence and formal event etiquette. We will carefully guide the choir through the process of learning songs, rehearsing and performing on stage.
We teach all styles from pop, classical, rock, blues, jazz, metal, funk, folk, bluegrass, worship, R&B and reggae. You name it, our instructors can teach it!
Yes! Our voice instructors, choir directors and music instructors have degrees from Rollins College, University of Central Florida, DePaul University and Georgia State University. Many of our instructors have gone on performance tours of the US and Europe and have over 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience.
No but we do recommend that singers have a keyboard. Being able to play the melody you are singing is helpful in developing your ear and pitch accuracy. We can recommend the right one for your budget. A simple 61-key, non-weighted keyboard starts at $99.00.
